Test Tube Feeder Insert

This feeder insert and stand is designed to perfectly fit the Plastic Test Tubes we sell.

This feeder insert has two small sections, one to add Sunburst Ant Nectar, honey, or another sugar source, and another to add protein. This makes feeding your colony easy and keeps any mess off the actual test tube.

It features small air holes in the end which makes this insert not suitable for tiny species, if you would like to use the insert with tiny species, we can glue some small mesh over the holes, select this option below.

The design of the insert keeps the test tube in one position so it doesn't roll and also allows for one of our Heat Cables to be used under the test tube to add some warmth if needed.

We recommend purchasing two of these per test tube so you can have one ready to insert when the dirty one is removed. Particular care needs to be taken when washing the insert. Use lukewarm water, not hotter than 30 degrees, or the insert could deform.
