Our 'Test Tube Connector for Plastic Test Tubes - Magnetic' can be used to attach this Plastic Test Tube setup to any of our magnetic connector modules and ant nests and formicariums. If you already have your ants in a test tube of your own, you will need to move them into one of these first.

Due to the manufacturing process involved in making plastic test tubes, they are not all perfectly the same width. To allow for this, we have had to design the connector to be at the the average width of the test tubes. This means that some test tubes may not push all the way onto the connector or the test tubes might go on a little lose. If the test tube does not fit on all the way, this is fine as long as it's 'snug'. If the test tube is a little loose, then we recommend wrapping a couple of thicknesses of some selotape, or equivalent, around the connector until it does fit snug.
