Leaf Cutter Setups

Welcome to our leaf cutter setup.

All of these components are made-to-order, so please contact us if you would like to make an order. Lead time is about three weeks for a full setup.

Shipping of these requires a lot of packaging and shipping internationally can be very expensive because of this, especially the heating box, which is large. We will discuss options when you get in touch.

This setup in its current format is perfect for Acromyrmex Octospinosus. The inner diameter of the acrylic tube is 28mm which is a perfect size for them. Atta Cephalotes generally require a larger diameter tube due to their eventual colony size. We are currently working on these larger sizes, but this setup would work for small, initial colonies of Atta.

Please remember these colonies can grow large, so you must have expansion plans in place. We are currently using a Quad Fungus Pod Heating Box which can accommodate 4 fungus pods. It is huge and shipping it constructed is not possible. We could ship it flat packed but we would need to talk to you in advance.
