Outworld Corner Dumping Piece

To make cleaning your HighTechAnts outworld easier, we have designed this nifty little piece. If you are using any sort of substrate in the outworld, this part might not be as effective, it is designed to fit directly onto the outworld base.

Your colony, once large enough, will usually start dumping their rubbish in the outworld. Over the years, we have found that the majority of our colonies usually use one corner of the outworld to dump their rubbish.

Once you see which corner of your outworld your colony is generally using, you can use this piece in that corner to make cleaning easier. Clean any rubbish from that corner and then add one of these pieces. 

If your colony uses the same corner for dumping after the piece is in place, you can simply remove it, empty the rubbish, give it a quick clean, then replace it. 

Cleaning

We clean this corner piece with just lukewarm water and some kitchen roll or a cotton bud.

Our 3D printed nests and parts can only be cleaned in lukewarm water. Any water temperature of 40 degrees and over can cause the nest to deform. If you are unsure of the water temperature, please use some sort of thermometer.

Additional Information 

If you have a very early version of our outworld, over 18 months old, the pieces in the corner of your outworld will be perfectly square and this piece will not fit. If you want one that will fit, please contact us and we will print one for you! Loyal customers will never miss out.
