Welcome to HighTechAnts!

We have been keeping ants for many years, and have continuously tried to find ways of accurately monitoring temperature and moisture in the multiple nests we have used. So, we thought, 'why not design, develop and create our own nests which do exactly what we want?'

After many, many months of designing and developing our nests, we have finally produced our HighTechAnts nests and formicariums!

But why stop there? We have also designed our outworld/arena and some connecting modules so you can let your imagination run wild and let your ants live in a completely bespoke setup, designed by you!

Over the last 10 years of ant keeping, we have used setups with tube and without tube to connect various nests and outworlds. In terms of flexibility and design, we have found tube to be a winner. That's why we have designed our products to be connected by tube. We have various colonies spread over many shelves using tube and we find this replicates what the ants would build in the wild.

The tube we use is very clear and has no writing on it which can be a problem with some other tube.
